The giant (by Pablo Gómez-Reino)

Pedro and his mother lived on a farm, next to the forest. One morning, Pedro went to the woods and found a  giant  caught in a power plant. Pedro helped him out of that place and from that moment they became close friends. After this, Pedro taught the giant how to speak and to know the difference between  right and wrong. The people of the city believed the giant was bad and  they wanted to kill him. One day the armed forces launched a nuclear bomb to kill him, knowing that the people in the city could die. Although everybody was against the giant, he decided to save the people.
