MY HOLIDAYS
Next christmas holidays my family and I are going to visit Thailand and my best friend and her family are going with us! First we're flying from Mallorca to Barcelona, then from there to Singapore and finally to Phuket. We are planning to do the typical activities like, riding on an elephant, going to the beach,... We are also very excited for the food there because it is very tropical and different from the food we havw here.
Last year in Summer, my mother, my aunt, my cousin and me visited Italy for one week. We made a tour, which started in Rome and ended in the south of Italy, Napoli. It was so beautiful there... we saw a lot of sights that everybody must have seen, like in Pompeii we saw the ruins after the disaster of the volcano eruption, it was totally amazing! But it was very hot in Italy, we all got a suntan. The best was the Italian food , we ate pizza, pasta and gnocchi, it was just delicious!
When I was a child, for christmas we used to visit, with all my family, Tenerife. In Tenerife lives my great grandmother. We used to have a lot of fun! And in winter the temperature was warm. There are also beautiful black sand beaches because of the vulkan eruptions from the Teide. We used to get a suntan there because the sun is very strong there. But I used to enjoy it a lot celebrating christmas with all my family.
