Peter Allen Nisbet was born in North California in 1948. He began to study painting when he was 10 years old. He has been a student of fine art for 35 years, (beggining with water colors and then with oils when he was 25). In 1974 he began a free-lance comercial art business providing graphic desing and ilustrations for 25 national organizations. In 1980 he moved to the Southwest and he began painting landscapes.
His paintings were made in different parts of the world because he has travelled a lot. He has a lot of paintings of different landscapes of Yellowstone.
My favourite painting is " Lower falls of the Yellowstone " because I think
it is an amazing image. I really like the big falls with the rainbow.
